I received my master's degree from the University of Southern California, where I conducted research related to physiological control systems and its cardiovascular applications. I worked on Pulse Transit Time (PTT) as a potential surrogate non-invasive measure for blood pressure, and a promising indicator for heart parameters such as baroreflex sensitivity. I earned my Bachelor's degree from Northeastern University in Mechanical Engineering and Biomechanics.
Research
"Generating Vascular Networks: Focusing on Hierarchy and Energy Consumption"
My research focuses on synthesizing vascular network models to perfuse lab-grown tissues, a key challenge in tissue engineering. I am working on developing construction and optimization methods to generate user-controlled vascular structures within constrained conditions and boundaries.
