Main Goals

• To develop, evaluate and optimise a bioreactor system for the culture of stem cells on biomaterial scaffolds

• The bioreactor will be used:
• To investigate the suitability of human stem cells and induced pluripotent cells for tissue repair

• To evaluate novel biomaterial scaffolds for bone and joint repair applications
• To produce tissue constructs for tissue development, matrix structure and cell interactions studies
