"Bioengineered vascular grafts derived from tubular collagen constructs"

My research focuses on bioengineered collagen grafts to replace a wide range of diseased or damaged tissues in the human body. The aim of my project is to develop vascular grafts which demonstrate reduced infection rates and thrombogenicity, long-term patency and the ability to regenerate damaged tissue.

Short Biography

I earned my Master's degree from Northwestern University where I conducted research on bladder tissue regeneration and tissue scaffold micro-patterning under the supervision of Dr Guillermo Ameer (Biomedical Engineering Department). I received my Bachelor's degree from the Technical University of Munich.
